Hannah and James’ Dreamy Wedding of Pinks, Peaches & Creams

These two have some serious style. From the outfits to the church, to the stunning table settings this wedding was truly gorgeous! To top off, they had the most amazing photographer, Jessica Reeve who captured the day just perfectly.

From meeting with Hannah and her mum, I knew this wedding was going to be beautiful. Hannah was really clear that she wanted the crisp, dreamy look without foliage for her bouquet and that it was definitely quality over quantity. So we set to work selecting a lush mix of florals including; Sweet Avalanche Roses, Peach and Ivory Spray Roses, White Nemo Peonies, Pink Shirley Temple Peonies and stunning White and Pink Hydrangeas.

The Bouquet

Hannah’s bouquet was the floral pièce de résistance of the day. No foliage, just head to head flowers carefully arranged in an elegant compact dome. The looks on Hannah’s and her maids’ faces when we delivered the bouquets was captured perfectly by Jessica.

To finish the bouquet we hand-tied with pure white satin ribbon, leaving some elegant trails which offer another dimension to the flowers as it provides additional movement.

As the bouquet wasn’t overly large, it meant Hannah was able to carry it all day long without it being a burden and by the looks of the pictures, she did just that!

Hannah’s Squad

Perfect hair, perfect makeup, perfect dresses and some pretty nice flowers to boot was the order of the day for this team of gorgeous girlies.

Again, Hannah went for simple bouquets which weren’t going to cause aching arms and enable the maids to live up to their duties and assist the bride on the day.

Simple posies of Roses and Eucalyptus worked perfectly with the nude dresses and elegant hair styles.

Tradition with a Capital ‘T’

Those amazing wedding venues are beautiful, but there is nothing quite like a good old traditional Church wedding. But that was not the only tradition being celebrated on the day. Not forgetting both of their farming backgrounds, Hannah and James were a sight for sore eyes as they left Holy Trinity Church in Bolton-Le-Sands as they were greeted with an arch of shepherds crooks and, held by young farmers wearing white show coats!

The newly-weds were then showered with fragrant dried, scented flower petals in cones made from pressed flower paper. The perfect finishing touch.

Table Magic

Hannah’s simplistic, yet elegant designs continued into the wedding reception.

Styled blossom trees brought a new height to Hannah’s reception, with beautifully clean whites and flourishes of pinks, working perfectly with the nudes tones of the attire and the venue decor.

To keep the eye exploring, we added another depth to the design by teaming the blossom trees with low laying floral rings, bursting with simple Roses and Hydrangeas in keeping with Hannah’s floral palet.

Add some dimly lit candles and the stage was set for a wonderfully romantic evening.
