Wedding Flowers

Flowers are at the heart of what we do here at Time for Flowers, creating floral arrangements for every occasion, but none are quite so special as your wedding flowers.

If you're like many of our couples, flowers are quite important when it comes to the wedding day, not just what they look like, but how they feel and also how they smell! After all, you might not be carrying flowers at all if they didn't smell beautiful - that's because back in Ancient Greek and Roman times brides would carry a bunch of fragrant herbs to ward off evil and bad luck. This evolved through the Victorian era to a bridal bouquet which was meant to carry the sentiment of love but also masked bodily odours, which thankfully we don't have to worry about that problem too often!

But back in the 21st century flowers are a staple accessory for the wedding day, often the backbone to a theme, style or colour scheme. So getting them right is so, so important.

What you can expect from us

Unlike other companies, we don't offer set packages, where you choose your colour scheme, pay your money and then you won't see us until the morning of the wedding. No, we prefer to spend some time, even before you book our services, to give you an opportunity to get to know us, find out fully what we can do for you and agree everything up-front, all completely bespoke to you. 

We offer interim meetings along the way to make any major changes such as venue, season or theme amendments. Also, we always have a final meeting about 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding where every detail is checked, delivery timescales are agreed and tweaks are made.

We will only use the finest flowers available to create your wedding floral arrangements, sourced mainly from the world renowned Dutch flower auctions, plus some locally grow foliages and flowers during the Summer months. 

Finally, the day of the wedding! We carefully package all of the bridal party flowers, complete with their own name tags to ensure great aunty Beryl doesn't end up wearing the Grooms buttonhole! We usually deliver to the wedding couple, then off to the church or wedding venue to complete our work. All liaison with the venues is done by us, ensuring the process is as stress and worry free for you.
